Well, you can't anyway. And if Mutt has his way you'll only be able to buy 1 good track and then be forced to put up with 3 specially created mediocre tracks to fill up the EP. "What?", you say, "Is it possible that Mutt Ramon could produce anything mediocre?". That could be the fatal flaw in the plan (if only there weren't so many other flaws in it already). You don't really need a degree in marketing to see how as a business plan it doesn't quite work. Let me rewind...
Mutt rang up this morning to say he'd sent me an email. He's like that, he can't possibly rely on one form of communication. If he sends a letter, he also follows the postman to the house and waves flags in semaphore through the window. We have our first almost glowing review on
lostmusic.co.uk
Mutt was quite happy with "Not brilliant, but has a certain charm". I can't quite decide whether the reviewer likes us or not, but he's bothered to listen and write something and put a link on, and it is generally favourable. That's pretty good actually. Anyway, then Mutt invites himself and his delightful family round to make some more noises. I cooked up some child friendly curry (i.e. more like Quorn in tomato sauce then curry - The Family Mutt are vegetablarians). Then we set about a complete rework of Monkey Mobile complete with Cornet and Violin parts played by our lovely spouses (or should that say Spice?). It's a lot shorter now, which must be a good thing, and less electronic, which in my opinion is usually a bad thing.
After all this creativity we sat down and divided up some bags of M&Ms and discussed what would happen next with the music. The review said that it wasn't sure where you could buy the music. Most of us, save Mutt, thought that putting details on the website of how to buy a copy of our CD might be a good idea. Even if it was just "Send us an email, give us a fiver via PayPal and we'll make you a CD". Mutt didn't like this idea, and thought we'd be giving out too many good songs on one CD. He thought we should pad it out with some "lesser songs". I thought we should throw away any "lesser songs" (or keep them for later when we get more desperate), and just keep up a really high standard. The Spice agreed. In any case, we don't have our best stuff out yet, as we're "Not Brilliant". I want to be brilliant if possible. Mutt is happy with "Charming".
It reminded me of a band (or maybe even a parody of a band), who were so underground that as soon as they so much as thought up a song they had sold out and would forget about it.
Still, if anyone is reading this (unlikely I know), and wants to buy a CD, then make it known on the Mutt Ramon guestbook (or as a comment here), and we'll make you a special one with 1 good track, a version with the crazy frog on it and a cover version of that James Blunt song on the Kazoo.

Pish! Tish! What I should have said is that the 4 demo songs are destined for the debut album (available online soon!), and so to give value for money I want to put on 1 or 2 other (good) tracks on our first EP that will never be available again, thus making it (possibly) collectable. That's what I meant.
Lovely curries by the way...
